Enriching our communities

The heart of Micron Gives lies at the intersection of our philanthropy, programs and people. We understand that people cannot succeed if their surroundings are not stable and if systemic barriers to their success exist. This is why we work with many partners to create economic stability, to establish programs that remove economic barriers and build the resilience of vulnerable populations and underserved communities.

Investing in community ecosystems

Investing in underrepresented and historically marginalized groups is vital to drive social impact and economic empowerment. We prioritize organizations that focus on increasing opportunities for these groups, like Udayan Care, UNICEF, Junior Achievement Europe, UN Women and United Way of Greater Atlanta.

We also work with nonprofits like the Home Partnership Foundation to help address homelessness and the YMCA to provide more access to STEM education and childcare. These and other examples are in our 2023 Micron Gives year-end summary.
