Micron's advanced NAND lays the foundation for the impressive performance of the Micron 2550 SSD in client applications. The NAND features the world's first 6-plane production TLC NAND, independent word line on each plane and read-concurrency that executes simultaneous data reads to deliver higher performance.

PCIe Gen4 performance that surpasses the competition

The Micron 2550 SSD enables faster, more responsive applications in mainstream PC platforms, including gaming, consumer and business client devices. Micron’s predictive cache optimization dynamically adjusts for higher write performance.

Superior user experience for your daily compute​

The Micron 2550 SSD delivers a superior user experience, as evidenced by competitive PCMark 10® benchmark scores.¹ Power savings are provided through Micron's optimization of entry and exit into self-initiated energy saving states, usage of an advanced process node for the controller and elimination of DRAM via Host Memory Buffer (HMB) technology.² These combine to provide battery-sipping sleep power consumption under 2.5 milliwatts, active idle power consumption under 150 milliwatts and active power consumption below 5.5 watts – enabling longer battery life for daily computing needs.
